Maxine Bahns

Maxine Bahns began her acting career while studying Latin & Greek at New York University.  She took acting classes at the Three of Us Acting Studios while attending classes.  During this time she auditioned for Edward Burns’ The Brother’s McMullen (which won the Grand Jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival) and was cast as the female lead opposite Burns.  Following the success of Brothers’, she was then cast as the free-spirited Hope in She’s the One opposite Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston

She has completed over 20 films, including, Charlie Valentine (starring with Michael Weatherly of NCIS), Conjurer (starring with John Schneider) which was an Official Selection in 2009 SLAMDANCE, The Lost Tribe and Roman Coppola’s new film, A Glimpse inside the mind of Charles Swan.  She begins filming, True Love Waits, in January 2012

Recent projects include guest-starring roles on Law & Order Los Angeles, Rizzoli & Isles, CSI and The Mentalist.

Maxine is also an avid yogi and triathlete, having competed in over 20 triathlons, she completed the Ironman World Championship Triathlon in 2001. She has appeared on the covers of Runner’s World, Health, FHM, Triathlete, Maxim, Fit, Her Sports, Experience Life and Competitor Magazine.
